§ 31.15. Mayor and vice-mayor generally; authority of mayor to exercise emergency powers.

(a)

For general provisions concerning the mayor and the vice-mayor, see Charter sections 3.05 and 3.06.

(b)

The mayor is hereby empowered to exercise the emergency powers conferred by chapter 98 of this Code, and FS, ch. 870.

(c)

The vice mayor shall act as mayor during the absence or disability of the mayor and the mayor pro tem shall act as mayor in the absence or disability of both the mayor and vice-mayor.
