§ 34.02. Old age and survivors insurance benefits.

(a)

The mayor, city clerk, and members of the city council are authorized to enter into an agreement with the state under the authority of F.S. ch. 650, which extends coverage under the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance System of the Social Security Act, to municipal employees.

(b)

The clerk and the treasurer shall refund to excluded officials any sums erroneously paid in under the Act referred to above.
