§ 60.01. Creation of Utility Systems Department.

The city council hereby establishes and creates pursuant to Charter section 10.01, the Port St. Lucie Utility Systems Department, which shall be generally responsible for the construction, expansion, extension, operation and maintenance of the city's water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems subject to proper authority within the City's Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Utility Service Area. The Utility Systems Department shall be named and included in the City's annual budget.
