§ 67.04. Prohibited activities.

(a)

No development approval shall be issued for any nonresidential activity which stores, handles, produces or uses any regulated substances as defined in Chapter 60 within regulated areas unless exempt pursuant to section 67.06.

(b)

The following shall comply with applicable rules and regulations of FDEP, SFWMD, or the St. Lucie County Health Department:

(1)

The location of septic systems;

(2)

The location of storm water wet retention/detention areas, as defined by SFWMD, unless otherwise approved by SFWMD; and

(3)

The location of wastewater treatment plant effluent discharges, including but not limited to, percolation ponds, surface water discharge, spray irrigation, or drainfields, unless otherwise approved by FDEP.
