§ 116.06. Inspection of records and premises.

(a)

The premises and required records of each secondhand dealer and pawnbroker are subject to inspection during regular business hours by the Port St. Lucie Police Department and by any state law enforcement officer who has jurisdiction over the dealer.

(b)

The inspection authorized by subsection (a) of this section shall consist of an examination on the premises of the inventory and required records to determine whether the records and inventory are being maintained on the premises as required by section 116.05, and whether the secondhand dealer or pawnbroker has complied with the holding period requirements of section 116.07.
